Ever have one of those clogs that nothing seems to break up? That is why they invented hydro jetting! What is hydro jetting? It is a process of using high-powered water jets to break through the toughest clogs and clean your drains. For a great demonstration, look under our Services tab at the Hydro Jetting information.
What Is Hydro Jetting?
Dixie Drain Doctors have many tools at our disposal, and one that is not widely known is hydro jetting. What is hydro jetting? As much as it sounds like a summer water sport, it is actually a great plumber’s tool. Hydro jetting is a drain cleaning process that uses high-powered water jets to power through the very worst of clogs and break up sand deposits, hair clogs, scale buildup, grease and food particles—practically anything.
When you call us, we know the clog is beyond what you have been able to clear on your own. We also know that you value your wallet, and you don’t want to have to call us again three weeks later to clean the same drain. So we make sure we do it right. Our goal is to have your line clean as new so you don’t have any problems with drainage again.
Most people who have called a plumber know what a plumbing snake is. Many people ask us, “What is hydro jetting? And why don’t you just use a plumber’s snake?” Good questions. When we look at where a drain is located, who is using it, what goes down it, and where it runs, we determine whether a snake or a hydro jet is the better tool.
Roots growing through and around a pipe cause different problems than hair clogs or grease and food particles. We assess the situation and choose the best tool to clean that drain. Not every tool attacks every problem the same way, and we are committed to using the right technique so you are happy with the result.
